It's "Women of Faith" weekend, an annual weekend pilgrimage for the Bess women. Thousands of women pack into the AAC for a fun-filled weekend of laughter, worship and encouragement. Mom's friends from, well, literally all around the Globe, are here for the weekend also. The picture above is missing a few... I'll get snapshots of them tomorrow.
I'm spending the night at Craig and Carolyn's apartment in Dallas. They have a great place downtown with close proximity to the American Airlines Arena, where we have been tonight. Mom and her partners-in-crime are staying at Aileen's house. I have a feeling I'll get more sleep than those rascals get!
